Welcome to Early College High School, an AVID Site of Distinction!
Located on the Trident Tech Palmer Campus, our hardworking students pursue dual enrollment classes with the potential to earn up to an Associate's Degree by the time they graduate from high school.
ECHS is an AVID Site of Distinction, which means that AVID is taught across all grade levels and content areas. The AVID curriculum prepares students for rigorous courses by focusing on college and career readiness skills in writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization and reading (WICOR).
Student support is at the heart of what we do at Early College. Students meet with their AVID teacher weekly to discuss academic successes and challenges so that personalized interventions can be implemented if needed.
At Early College, we believe that every student should be afforded the opportunity to step foot on a college campus prior to making post-secondary plans. We support this opportunity knowledge by visiting in-state universities at each grade level and by attending several college and career fairs throughout the school year.
We are grateful to offer small class sizes and tons of student support at Early College. When you attend ECHS, you are a part of a family of staff and students who will guide and encourage you along your path to success.

It emphasizes maintaining respect for oneself and others, fostering an optimistic mindset, and behaving responsibly. This approach encourages students to follow school rules, complete tasks efficiently, and support peers while striving for personal and academic excellence.
